To establish a personal career plan and stick to it in spite of the material temptation does not mean you have to be a Puritan, and material benefit may be part of your plan--such as Winnie can plan to be a general instead of a major or to be a good and pretty lady instead of merely a good one. The problem now is that every team member tends to be tempted to abandon almost all the principles acquired from eductaion to be partial of human virtues. Some of them do not have any such a plan and are indulged in pursuing material stimulation, giving up all the virtues that they should have insisted on; others merely can not resist the temptions against their planning, and throw themselves into desire torrents. This traps the PM in a pretty difficult situation--he just can not maintain a comparatively stable team to complete his project. What a PM must do despite the pressure from this widely-accepted social tendency is to introduce a value into his team and to make everyone believe he is doing such a great job with such a great group of people that many material temptions are nothing compared with this job and this team. Jia duo. This kind of discussion is what I expect. I can see the difference between our points more clearly now. I think every person actually is drvien by his Objective. Just each Objective is unique due to the unique individual. Nobody is be lured by other things. That just is an excuse. We need not talk more about their objectives good or not. Sure it should be important but pls just cared during recuitment process. We need not hope that others objectives are as same as PM. Just try to come to terms on projects. That is enough. Otherwise I am afraid we may fall into disappointment all day and all time. Sometimes really 存在就是合理. Actually I think I can understand them. BTW: my objective is to earn money as much as possible by a honourable and interested approach. To be pretty and to be a general are only my dreams.
